I am sure most of you have heard of the dietary supplement that is taking the nation by storm. Even Dr. Oz recommends the supplement be taken in conjunction with a healthy diet and consistent exercise. It is called Garcinia Cambogia.
Garcinia Cambogia claims to be a natural supplement of the tamarind fruit that contains an abundance of hydroxycitric acid (HCA). Researchers claim that HCA can double or triple one’s weight loss by blocking fat and suppressing your appetite. It claims to have a truly energizing and appetite suppressing affect without the side effects common of other supplements (i.e. HydroxyCut). Researchers state to take at least 50% HCA per day in order to achieve maximum results.
I plan on starting the Garcinia Cambogia tomorrow (April 20). I bought my supplements at Wal-Mart for $19.95 and that included two bottles, totaling 84 caplets. My daily dose is 60% HCA. According to the instructions on the box, I take four caplets one hour before each meal (so that is 12 caplets per day). The product will last me one week. The instructions warn me to not take more than 12 caplets a day, do not take the product for more than 8 weeks, and that the pills should be used in conjunction with a reduced-calorie diet and regular exercise program.
This supplement is not for diabetics, cardiac (heart) patients, individuals who take cholesterol lowering medicines, pregnant, or breastfeeding. ALWAYS consult with your physician before starting any new supplement, diet, or exercise program.
I will let you know if the hype of Garcinia Cambogia is all its cracked up to be. Stay tuned for updates.
